Jill joined Praxidice in 2011, when she relocated from New York City to Aspen. Jill’s practice focuses on all aspects of civil litigation. She also provides trademark, copyright and other intellectual counsel to a range of businesses, including start-ups. Her litigation practice includes representation of individuals and businesses involved in commercial disputes, homeowner association disputes, real estate litigation, personal injury, employment and intellectual property disputes. Her intellectual property practice includes all aspects of trademark and copyright registration and enforcement.
Prior to joining Praxidice, Jill was a litigation associate with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York City, where her practice included general litigation and intellectual property. She formerly served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Pitkin County Bar Association, and now serves as its President. She also serves as a member of the Public Affairs Committee for the Aspen Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Next Generation Commission of the City of Aspen. While practicing in New York, Jill served on the Trademarks and Copyright Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
Jill received her undergraduate degree from Brown University from 2002. She has a master’s degree from the London School of Economics (2005) and a Juris Doctor (cum laude) from Georgetown Law School (2008). She is married to Michael Edinger, an Aspen area architect.
